Available for the Businessowners Policy or Commercial Package Policy, our Pharmacy Services Professional Liability endorsement provides coverage for your pharmacy operations as well as your employees for claims arising from the rendering or failure to render pharmacy services.

The endorsement defines pharmacy services according to the standards set by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy and includes:

• The interpretation, evaluation, preparation and dispensing of prescription orders
• Participation in drug and device selection
• The administering of drugs, including immunizations, where permitted by law
• Drug regimen reviews
• Drug or drug-related research
• Medication consulting and patient counseling which are related to drugs, medical devices or medical conditions
• Compounding
• Storage of drugs and devices
• Maintenance of proper records for drugs and devices
• Pharmaceutical care

Limited Pharmacy License Defense Reimbursement is also included and provides reimbursement of legal fees arising out of a disciplinary proceeding before a Board of Pharmacy arising out of the rendering or failure to render pharmacy services.
