Pharmacists Mutual Companies most important resource is our experienced, professional, caring employees. Policyholders receive personal service from your local representative or directly from our home office. Pharmacists Mutual employs approximately 300 people, including field representatives who live in states where the company operates. Among our staff are former teachers, nurses, lawyers, accountants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and a medical director. Many individuals are licensed insurance representatives or have earned distinctive insurance designations. Two on-staff pharmacist-attorneys handle professional liability claims and ensure that our products keep pace with changes in the industry. They are also available to counsel policyholders about risk management techniques that can reduce their pharmacy professional exposure.

The majority of our Board of Directors are licensed pharmacists. They are instrumental in developing company goals and direction. Additionally, our Home Medical/Home Care Advisory Council is comprised of owners or executive officers representing the home medical or home care industry. The council's charter is to assist Pharmacists Mutual in setting strategic direction and in creating and maintaining quality and profitable products and services for the Home Medical/Home Care industry.
